Introducing Bedroom occupancy base strategy

We are super excited to announce the New strategy in Rategenie, we named it as ' Change with occupied bedroom count '. You can set your rates according to bedroom occupancy. As occupancy increases, the nightly rate will increase.
Please follow the below steps to start using our brand new Strategy for your listings.

  • Navigate to Strategies module.
  • Click the Add Strategy button and Select the Other Strategy option.

  • Then select Change with occupied Bedroom count strategy

The Strategy Details section on the Overview page contains editable rate settings. Whenever a change to a rate setting is saved, new rates will be generated in your calendar for the associated rental. To save changes to the strategy details and generate new rates, click Save.

  • Base Rate - The default nightly rate before any rules are applied. This is overridden by values set in the rental rates settings.
  • Min Rate - The lowest nightly rate that can be set. This is overridden by values set in the rental rates settings.
  • Max Rate - The highest nightly rate that can be set. This is overridden by values set in the rental rates settings.
  • Min Stay - The default minimum nights requirement for bookings. This is overridden by values set in the rental rates settings.
  • Occupancy : Single or Double ( User can select Bedroom occupancy from a drop down field )
  • Bedroom Threshold : This field is used to set Bedroom threshold after which additional bedroom fee will be charged.

When user select Double Occupancy:

Let’s say User has double occupancy and bedroom threshold is set as 2. That’s mean they can accomodate 4 guest into that. If there is 5th guest then it will required another bedroom. So if user add 20 as Additional Bedroom fee, that’s mean 5th guest fee will be 170+20=190

If there is 6th guest , still the total fee will be 170+20=190

Reason: With double occupancy both 5th and 6th guest can be adjusted into the same room.

When user select Single Occupancy:

Let’s say User has Single occupancy and bedroom threshold is set as 2. That’s mean the user can accomodate 2 guest into that. If there is 3rd guest then it will required another bedroom. So if user add 20 as Additional Bedroom fee, that’s mean 3rd guest fee will be 170+20=190

If there is 4th guest , the total fee will be 170+20+20=210

Note:

This strategy works with Webready Only and currently it works with Pearl template of the Webready.
