Create a New Rate Mapping
With Rategenie generating rates in your calendar, and your strategies all set, it is also important to make sure that your rates are being pushed to the correct rate categories on your channel listing. This is easy to do using rate mappings.
Adding rate mappings on the rate mappings tab
Rate mappings can be added to a rental directly from the rate mappings tab in the rates overlay. From your rates calendar, click the Rate Mappings tab.
On the far-right, click the Add Mapping button to open the Map Rate Category modal.
First, select a channel, and then select a channel rate category. The channel rate category is the rate group or rate plan that is used for nightly rates in your channel listing calendar. Click the Save button to finish mapping the selected channel rate category to the rental.
The saved rate mapping will appear in the Rate Mapping table with any other rate mappings saved for the rental.
Adding rate mappings on the listings page
To get a better view of all of the rate mappings in your account, navigate to Listings.
Here you will see all of your channel listings and their mapped channel rate categories. The Rate Category column will show the channel rate category currently mapped to the rental. For some channels like AirBnB, Rategenie will automatically map the channel rate category, and the listings page will show that auto mapped status. If there is no channel rate category currently mapped to the listing, then the column will note that there is no manual mapping.
Rate mappings are only necessary if you want Rategenie to push rates to a different channel rate category than currently selected, or if there is no mapped channel rate category. This can be done easily. On the listings table, click on the rate category column to open the rate mappings overlay.
Here, you can add or delete rate mappings for any channel listings linked to the rental.

On the listings page, click on a row in the table, to open the listings overlay.
Here, you can view the details for the channel listing, including the rate category. Click on the channel Rate Category field to open the rate mappings overlay.
Here, you can add or delete rate mappings for any channel listings linked to the rental.
